A natural flood is a sudden and huge amount of water that comes all at once.  It has great power to do damage.  You can feel powerless when faced with a natural flood.  That’s the very same description as a spiritual flood.  One that comes all of a sudden, and it seems so huge and so powerful that you feel powerless.  But God wants you to have a deep understanding that when you see the frightening effects of a flood of circumstances, you have the power to hold back the flood.  You don’t have to allow it to have its way and control events.  You have the victory!
